If you're a German history buff, (or would like to be) go nuts with the historical AUs, especially the Romans and the Weimar fight club. If you're not or the historical periods are touchy enough that you'd rather leave leave them alone (entirely understandable) I'd also dearly love something more generically fantastic about the armored lady's presence on the battlefield resurrecting soldiers, or the astronaut-priests attending upon the space nun pregnant with puppies, or the cannibal monks with bondage mask guys trapped under their table for some reason. Just be as lush, OTT and weird/fucked-up as the video is, either visually or verbally, and have fun with the imagery and implications. Also, Rammstein was my very first introduction to bandslash as a wee lass, so if by some chance you're into that as well then any of the above with added boning between the guys, or the guys and Germania, would be entirely welcome.

Le Jardin Des Larmes - ZAZ ft. Till Lindemann (Music Video)

I initially thought the story was told in chronological order, with Zaz somehow raising Till from the dead/whatever he is at the beginning to come keep her company only to kill him and rebury him, but upon closer examination I think the middle part might be a flashback. I do think the idea of him as an undead servant or maybe some kind of spirit/construct of the desert would be cool, but a more mundane sort of murder plot would also be a good time (also, what's up with him being there apparently looking for himself at the end? For her in the alternate version where he strangled her instead? Maybe he's a relative?) Art-wise I just love the beautiful jewel tones it's all shot in so something really capitalizing on that would be great.

Blacksnake - Charming Disaster (Song)

Summary: I love how witchy this all is. The band describes it as " two powerful figures making efforts to protect themselves from each other using magic spells...or two musicians playing music together in a ritualistic way," which definitely seems like a good jumping-off point - the fact that they seem to be romantically involved while worrying that the other is a harbinger of death could be an entire novel in itself, not to mention all of the potential for magic worldbuilding about what exactly they're doing together/apart. Artistically, a lot of these lines are wonderfully aesthetic though I do especially like "the mirror, cracked and broken, making Xes of my eyes."

If you're a German history buff, (or would like to be) go nuts with the historical AUs, especially the Romans and the Weimar fight club. If you're not or the historical periods are touchy enough that you'd rather leave leave them alone (entirely understandable) I'd also dearly love something more generically fantastic about the armored lady's presence on the battlefield resurrecting soldiers, or the astronaut-priests attending upon the space nun pregnant with puppies, or the cannibal monks with bondage mask guys trapped under their table for some reason. Just be as lush, OTT and weird/fucked-up as the video is, either visually or verbally, and have fun with the imagery and implications. Also, Rammstein was my very first introduction to bandslash as a wee lass, so if by some chance you're into that as well then any of the above with added boning between the guys, or the guys and Germania, would be entirely welcome.

I initially thought the story was told in chronological order, with Zaz somehow raising Till from the dead/whatever he is at the beginning to come keep her company only to kill him and rebury him, but upon closer examination I think the middle part might be a flashback. I do think the idea of him as an undead servant or maybe some kind of spirit/construct of the desert would be cool, but a more mundane sort of murder plot would also be a good time (also, what's up with him being there apparently looking for himself at the end? For her in the alternate version where he strangled her instead? Maybe he's a relative?) Art-wise I just love the beautiful jewel tones it's all shot in so something really capitalizing on that would be great.

Blacksnake - Charming Disaster (Song)

Summary: I love how witchy this all is. The band describes it as " two powerful figures making efforts to protect themselves from each other using magic spells...or two musicians playing music together in a ritualistic way," which definitely seems like a good jumping-off point - the fact that they seem to be romantically involved while worrying that the other is a harbinger of death could be an entire novel in itself, not to mention all of the potential for magic worldbuilding about what exactly they're doing together/apart. Artistically, a lot of these lines are wonderfully aesthetic though I do especially like "the mirror, cracked and broken, making Xes of my eyes."

I've always wanted Maggie's point of view on this situation. On one hand, naturally, she shouldn't have gone cherry picking but imagine the little snot sitting there telling you how old you look in the aftermath! But he loves her, so he says. Does she actually love him or is she using him for sex? Did she really obsessively trap this kid just to avoid loneliness? I just have a feeling she might see things differently.
